Reindeer rest by sleds in a small town of Yar-Sale, Yamal Peninsula, in Taymyria, northern Siberia. Taymyria is an autonomous okrug (national area) of Russia and is home to native peoples such as the Dolgans and the Nenetsi. By tradition, these peoples are nomadic reindeer herders.
